Our Beachfront Studio rooms are located on the ground and first floors of our two story hotel complex, offering fantastic views over the lagoon. Moana Sands Beachfront Hotel studios are ideal for both couples or larger groups and families, with interconnecting room options available.
Each air-conditioned studio room features a private balcony or patio, king size bed, in-room safe, iron, hairdryer, flat screen TV, basic kitchen facilities including, mini fridge, and tea/coffee making facilities.

- Please let us know if you require any bedding arrangements in the comments section of your booking. Infant cots are permitted in all room categories in addition to the maximum number of guests for $20.00 per stay.
- Please note that children 12 years and over are considered as adults.
- We require your arrival and departure flight information at the time of booking or prior to your arrival. Arrival transfers are compulsory for arrivals between 6pm and 8am (payable upon check out)
- Our standard check in time is 2pm and check out is at 10am. Should you arrive prior to this time, you can store your luggage at reception until your room becomes available and until your departure from the property upon check out.
- Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability for a fee at the hotel. Please ask our reception staff if this is available. To guarantee early access or for a late departure we recommend booking an additional night if required
- All rates include a daily tropical/ continental breakfast,complimentary use of kayaks, snorkelling equipment, beach towels and sun loungers.
- Microwaves are available in these rooms upon request prior to arrival.

Deposit / Payment Policy
No deposit is required at time of booking. Moana Sands will charge 50% deposit 30 days prior to your arrival, without further notice. The balance to be settled during your stay.
Bookings with a total 4 nights stay or less; and with travels of less than 28 days of check-in date full payment will be required upon the confirmation of booking.
Children 2-11 years charged @ ‘child’ rate NZ$50 p/night. Children 12 yrs+ charged @ ‘adult’ NZ$80 p/night.
Please select correct option, otherwise the additional amount will be charged upon arrival.
Cancellation Policy
STANDARD CANCELLATION POLICY:
Once a booking has been confirmed the following cancellation policy will apply & will be enforced:
31 days prior to arrival - NO FEE
15 - 30 days prior to arrival - 25% of total accommodation
8 - 14 days prior to arrival - 50% of total accommodation
1 - 7 days prior to arrival - 75% of total accommodation
Within 24 hours & NO SHOW - 100% of total accommodation
Also applies to any amendments made within the same time frame
We will retain a 3.5% Administration fee in a case of a refund.
